This beautiful patient came to us with a specific request for improvement in her AP (frontal view) aesthetics.  She was bothered by the excessive width of her middle vault, specifically at the “Keystone” area.  Anatomically, this area is where the nasal bones overlap the upper lateral cartilages. Using the piezo, we refined the Keystone area and performed lateral osteotomies to decrease the width at the nasomaxillary junction and improve the dorsal aesthetic lines.  We also performed some subtle tip refinement, elevating the nasal tip, repositioning the orientation of the lower lateral cartilages, and decreasing the bulbous appearance.  This postoperative photo is 1 week out, immediately after cast removal.  Despite the moderate swelling and bruising, you can see she’s already on her way to a phenomenal result!!!
