This is for anyone who has suffered from an abusive and narcissistic relationship.

I know you went through all of it:

The pain. The fights. The screaming. The gaslighting. The guilt-tripping. The threats. The manipulations. The emotional abuse. The trauma. The affairs. Even worse, the physical abuse.

You called it love but the person who put you through this made you believe you’re being delusional. They made you think you’re the problem and that it’s your fault why the relationship failed.

You begged for them to stay.
You sent long texts and called a hundred times — but they never answered.
You had to throw away your dignity because you’d rather lose yourself than lose someone you love.
You cried for weeks and months, but there’s nothing else you could do to change what happened.
You went through hell but they just don’t care at all.

I hear you. I see you. I know how it felt because I’ve been there.

I want to remind you that this pain will not last forever. You didn’t do anything wrong for demanding to be treated right. They’re just not meant for you.

I swear that someday, you will heal, my love.
Please don’t blame yourself for loving deeper than the pain they gave you.
You are worth it and that will never change even after everything you’ve been through.

Please remember these words all too well.

✒️SHE IS INTELLIGENT
She opens her lips and oozes wisdom. One can have a hard and serious talk with her. She talks about personal development and growth.

✒️SHE IS EMOTIONALLY STABLE
Yes, she may be hurt, feeling low and going through much, but she's a master of her feelings. She remains calm and collected.

✒️SHE MULTIPLIES
She'll turn one hundred into a thousand, a thousand into a million. She doesn't sit pretty waiting for things to be done fo her.

✒️SHE LOVES BEING LOVED
Yes, she is not waiting for things to be done, but when you love her and do good to her, she is receptive and appreciative. As much as she loves to give, she welcomes being served and loved as well.

✒️SHE LOVES THROUGH FOOD
She will make attempts to cook the best meals. Tasty and delicious healthy foods for herself and her loved ones and in the process, feeds your soul also.

✒️SHE'S FUN
Though she's intelligent, she can also act silly, make jokes, tease, laugh; she is great company. A fun and charming person to be around.

✒️SHE KNOWS HOW TO CALL FOR HELP
When she's stuck or in trouble, she knows how to ask for help. She doesn't suffer alone. She knows not only how to ask for help and the right person to ask.

✒️SHE'S A REFLECTION OF GOD
You see her and see God, she's becoming more and more like God: loving, forgiving, graceful, strong valued and creative through God's Word and prayers.

✒️SHE IS CONFIDENT
Whether she is an introvert or outgoing, she has a high self esteem. You can't bring her down. She has admirable qualities and walks head up without being cowed.

✒️SHE FEEDS HER MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT
You will catch her often reading stimulating materials like books or novels, praying, eating the right foods, meditating and working out.

✒️SHE KEEPS RELATIONSHIPS
She will have strong people surrounding her, whether a best friend, a clique of girlfriends or a bunch of close friends. She values relationships with friends and family.

WHEN A WOMAN RESPECTS HER MAN..

✓ She speaks to him with a caring tone

✓ She gives him peace

✓ She doesn't compare him with other men; she inspires him to be the best version of himself

✓ She doesn't shout or scold him as if he is incompetent

✓ She doesn't belittle him when he is down or going through loss

✓ She corrects him lovingly in private; away from the children (if they're married) and the public

✓ She doesn't announce to people the things she has done for him and how he would be nothing without her

✓ She brings to attention his few weaknesses without forgetting his many strengths

✓ She doesn't give him silent treatment to punish him

✓ She doesn't say hurtful things just because she is mad

✓ She acknowledges his good traits in private and in public

✓ She doesn't do mean things to teach him a lesson

✓ She suggests instead of ordering

✓ She doesn't treat him well only when the pastor or in-laws are watching. Her treatment is consistent, not a show.

✓ She gives him room to lead and participate; involving him in all decisions.
