We’re excited to celebrate Dr. Lizzy’s one-year anniversary at Hope Hearing. In just one year, she’s made a big impact by helping patients hear better and feel more confident. Her kindness, knowledge, and care make her an important part of our team - we’re lucky to have her!

Getting to know each of my patients individually! I love learning about each of my patients' lives and being able to help them improve their quality of life by treating their tinnitus and/or hearing loss!

🤷‍♀️ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗?
As an Audiologist, all we do is fit hearing aids! It is truly so much more than that!! We spend quality time with each of our patients, starting from the initial phone call, to the evaluation, and during follow-up visits during their treatment plan!

💗 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜?
Our patients!!! You're not just a patient for one provider when you're a part of the Hope Hearing Family! You really do get to know everyone in the office, and everyone will always be willing to help in whatever way they can!

I love how we celebrate birthdays! Not just team birthdays, but also for our patients! If a patient comes into the office around their birthday, there will likely be a sweet treat waiting for them!!

I think #1 on this list would be other people and their feelings, their ideas, and what matters to them. It's through connections with others and learning about their stories that my view of the world brightens and expands.

🤷‍♀️ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗?
That the primary function/role is administrative and task oriented rather than customer service/ patient care based.

💗 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜?
Without a question, the support of the team. Just knowing that everyone is so invested in building each other up, in working as a whole and as a team for our patients and for each other. Even when the days can be exceptionally busy or challenging, I always know the Hope team is there to help out in every way possible. I never have to question the actions or intentions of others because I know w certainty they are always for the benefit of us all. Today was a perfect example. Lizzy made time to have a one on one with me today. It really gave me a boost feeling more connected w everyone on the team. And then Kym, Lizzy and myself all met to share ideas about roles and how to better support each other.

🩺 𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠?
I believe that the best tradition that I've experienced is the continuing investment in each of us individually. From coaching to one on one meetings, as well as always having access to all the necessary tools to best perform my role. Always knowing that when there is a concern, or something that requires change or attention, there will be a positive exchange in communication to source ideas and problem resolution.
