🍑🐢 Nexus Virtual Leisure Adventure Travel Club Takes on Savannah, Georgia! 🐦✨

What a peachy adventure we had exploring the charm and history of Savannah! We sampled delicious Georgia Peach Tea and Peach Rings, then rolled up our sleeves to bake banana bread with pecans — the official state nut of Georgia 😋🌰

Along the way, we learned about Georgia’s state animal, the turtle, and its state bird, and dove into the rich and fascinating history of this beautiful town. From historic streets to tales of Savannah’s spooky haunts, there was no shortage of fun, learning, and laughter 👻🏛️

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this unforgettable virtual journey. We can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us! 🌍💙

✨ Cobbler’s & Cocktails: Down the Rabbit Hole ✨
What a magical day! We had an absolute blast celebrating the winter season with warm, cozy cobblers and Alice in Wonderland–inspired cocktails. 🍰🍹
From beloved characters to indulgent desserts and show-stopping drinks inspired by the Queen of Hearts ❤️ and the Mad Hatter 🎩, this event was pure wonder from start to finish.
If you didn’t follow us down the rabbit hole, you truly missed out on something special! This was hands down the perfect way to kick off our 2026 events—and we’re just getting started. ✨

🌏✨ Nexus Leisure Adventure Travel Club goes global—virtually! ✨🌏

This week, we packed our bags (from home 😄) and virtually traveled to Korea!

🍯 We sampled yakgwa, the traditional sweet treat, and tried the wildly popular peelable fruit snacks that are all the rage.
🎩 We even donned a G*t, getting a feel for the elegant ancient attire once worn by Korea’s upper class.
🏯 Our journey took us through South Korea, where we explored its rich history and admired the many beautiful and iconic sites.
🧭 Then, we ventured north to the elusive Korea, learning about the uniqueness and mystery of one of the world’s most secretive countries.

What an incredible cultural adventure—no passport required! 🌸📸

🎲 Game Club at Gardenview 🎲
Our Game Club residents love playing UNO together! This competitive yet extremely fun game keeps everyone on their toes while working the brain and bringing lots of laughs. 🃏

Friendly competition, great company, and nonstop fun—UNO is always a hit at Gardenview! 😊

📚✨ The Nexus Service Club had such a wonderful time reading to the Preschoolers at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in Southlake!

Our Residents always have a great time sharing stories with these bright, joyful children at this amazing school. We’ve been visiting and reading here for the past two years, and the kids are always so excited to see us—and we absolutely love seeing them too!

A heartfelt thank you to Tia and her incredible team for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of enriching the lives of these children. We are so grateful for this special partnership and look forward to many more story times together! 💛📖

☕✨ Lakeside Coffee Club is always a favorite! This special club gives our residents the opportunity to sample exotic coffees from around the world, grind the beans themselves, and brew each cup using a classic French press.

As the rich aroma fills the Lakeside Neighborhood, you can see (and smell!) the excitement building. Our residents truly enjoy the hands-on experience of learning all about coffee—their favorite beverage—and sharing great conversations along the way.

There’s nothing better than good coffee, great company, and a wonderful learning experience! ☕💛

The Lakeside Art Club had a lovely time exploring watercolor painting today. Inspired by the nearby flowers, some artists brought nature’s colors right into their work. We are always amazed by the beautiful projects they create and the joy art brings to each one.🎨🖌

✨ Nexus Leisure Adventure: Virtual Trip to Alaska! ✨

Our Nexus Leisure group took an unforgettable virtual journey to Alaska, where we were treated to a spectacular visit featuring the Northern Lights 🌌

Along the way, we sampled delicious salmon bites, admired a beautiful bear figurine, and couldn’t resist the charm of the smallest (and most adorable!) moose 🐻🦌

We also enjoyed an incredible travel video led by a very knowledgeable tour guide, who shared fascinating insights about this amazing state. We even learned why the press once referred to Alaska as “Seward’s Folly” after it was purchased from Russia — and why history proved that nickname very wrong!

What a fun, flavorful, and educational adventure. Alaska truly left us inspired! ❄️✨

🎉✨ Ringing in the New Year—Silverado Style! ✨🎉

We rang in the New Year a little early (3:00 PM to be exact 😉), but that didn’t stop the celebration! Our residents enjoyed great food, wine, and wonderful entertainment as we welcomed the New Year together.

The merriment was contagious—there was dancing, lots of laughter, great conversation, and of course some festive confetti poppers! 🎊 Our residents truly know how to celebrate and make every moment joyful.

Here’s to a New Year filled with fun, friendship, and many more moments like these! 🥂🎆

Our Lakeside outing to Starbucks on Grapevine Lake was the perfect way to enjoy the warm weather this season! ☀️🌊 Our residents ventured out for fresh air, beautiful views, and of course a cozy cup of hot cocoa. Surrounded by great company, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful moments shared together. These are the outings that make memories! 💙
