🌎✈️ Nexus Leisure Adventure Travel Club: Virtual Journey to Chile

We had an incredible time virtually exploring the beautiful and diverse country of Chile! From its unique climate to its stunning landscapes, there was so much to discover and learn together.

Did you know Chile is the closest country in the Southern Hemisphere to the continent of Antarctica? 🌍❄️

We also enjoyed sampling a delicious treat—Doblones—and they were absolutely amazing! 😋

Our residents loved sharing memories of their own travels to this remarkable country, making the experience even more meaningful. Thank you to everyone who joined us on this adventure—we can’t wait for our next destination! 🌟

Our Nexus Service Club had another wonderful day volunteering with our Preschool Friends at Little Sunshine Playhouse in Southlake! 📚💛

This is truly one of our favorite outings, and it’s easy to see why—there’s nothing better than sharing stories and watching these sweet kiddos light up with joy as we read together.

A heartfelt thank you to the school director Tia and her amazing team for always welcoming us so warmly and graciously. We appreciate you more than you know!

We’re already looking forward to our next visit! 😊

Spring has officially arrived in our Nexus Horticulture Club garden! 🌱🌼

A huge thank you to our amazing Club President Rhonda, along with Dorothy, Greg, and Julie, for their hard work getting our vegetable and herb garden planted just in time before the next spring storm rolled in. Your dedication truly brought this space to life!

We’re also grateful for all of our club members who pitched in—this was truly a team effort, even if not everyone is pictured. 💚

Our Nexus Neighborhood was filled with joy as everyone sang along with our amazing Nexus Program Director, Tammie, to one of their favorite songs. The energy was contagious—so much so that our resident Greg and ADHS Freda couldn’t stay seated and jumped up to dance!

Moments like these remind us how powerful music can be. It brings smiles, movement, and connection to our days—and in Nexus, it’s a big part of the fun we share every single day. ❤️

Spring is in full bloom with our Nexus Horticulture Club! 🌸🌿

We’ve officially kicked off our spring planting, starting with some beautiful flowering plants to brighten up our courtyard. Our residents always enjoy getting their hands in the soil and bringing new life to our garden.

We can’t wait to watch our courtyard grow into a colorful, thriving space for everyone to enjoy. 💐

We are so proud of our Southlake Administrator, Gilbert, for representing us at the 2026 TALA Conference!

During this incredible event, Gilbert had the opportunity to connect and spend quality time with our Regional VP of Operations, Le, along with fellow administrators Pat from Barton Springs and Gigi from Hermann Park. He also enjoyed collaborating with Carrie, DHS from Barton Springs, and had a wonderful surprise visit with our Silverado family member Patrice, Administrator from Calabasas, California.

It was truly an amazing conference and such an honor to fellowship with our extended Silverado family. Opportunities like this strengthen our connections, inspire growth, and remind us of the incredible community we are part of. 💙
