Ahhhh the F word. FAILURE. To some people, it’s been taught that failure is not an option. I love that one of my mentors has shared this on his social and I would like to kick it down the road, so to speak, so it gets more traction. Failure is a growth opportunity if you let it be. 💪🏼👊🏼❤️‍🩹

Taking a week to unwind and refresh in the Pacific Northwest. While my choice of reading material may seem odd to you, this book provides clarity and focus for my work with couples and hopefulness for healing.

I recommend this book The Betrayal Bind by Michelle Mays to anyone whose life feels shattered by infidelity and broken trust. This quote in particular struck me today:

“When we experience betrayal, it shatters our assumptions and perceptions about how the world or our relationships operate. This creates relational disconnection, as we begin to feel that we cannot trust ourselves, others, or our higher power to operate the way we have come to expect. The new scary events separate us from safe connection with ourselves, others, and larger systems of meaning.” (p.35)
