MEET OUR EMCEES!

We are so excited to announce our emcees for Sunday's National Charity League Southlake's Fashion Show & Benefit, High Tide High Fashion!

Nelly Carreño:
Nelly is a bilingual meteorologist with 25 years of TV experience in Dallas, Boston, and Chicago, including nine years as Chief Meteorologist at Univision Dallas covering major weather events across North Texas. A multiple Emmy winner, she earned the 2024 Lone Star Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Weathercast and two 2023 Lone Star Emmys for weather reporting. She is now the 11a.m. and 4 p.m. meteorologist at CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, continuing her focus on accurate forecasting, storytelling, and community connection. A University of Texas at Austin graduate and Certified Broadcast Meteorologist through Mississippi State University, she is also active in animal rescue and community outreach.

Maria Guerrero:
NBC 5 reporter Maria Guerrero has been covering stories across North Texas since February 2017 and also contributes to sister station Telemundo 39. An animal lover at heart, Maria adores dogs, kittens, and even squirrels, and she looks forward to adopting a furry friend soon. This is Maria’s first time being an emcee for the National Charity League Fashion Show & Benefit and is excited to help host such a rewarding event.

NCL Southlake celebrates its annual Fashion Show, High Tide High Fashion on Sunday, March 8th beginning at 2pm at the Hurst Conference Center.

Guests will enjoy food and beverages, bid on auction items, enter into our raffles, and view the latest fashions from our local retailers modeled by our juniors and seniors.

Highlighted are our NCL Southlake senior models, Peyton Pham, Sophia Garland, and Maya Kalra who have given, served, and lead in our community over the last 6 years.
