🎒 Backpack Safety Matters—Protect Growing Spines!

As kids and teens head back to school, it's important to make sure their backpacks aren’t doing more harm than good. An overloaded or poorly-fitted backpack can contribute to posture problems, muscle strain, and long-term back pain.

Here are a few tips to help keep your student safe:
✔️ Choose a backpack with wide, padded straps and a padded back
✔️ Encourage them to wear both shoulder straps—not just one
✔️ Keep weight to no more than 10–15% of their body weight
✔️ Use all compartments to distribute items evenly
✔️ Heavier books should be placed closest to the back
