One of the most overlooked parts of skincare is that your routine should change with the seasons 💐 What your skin needed in the winter isn’t always what it needs once spring arrives 🧹

During colder months, skin tends to be drier. We usually rely on richer moisturizers & keep exfoliation gentle to protect the barrier. But as temperatures warm up and humidity increases, skin often starts producing more oil. The products that once felt nourishing can suddenly feel heavy.

This is why spring is usually the time we start adjusting routines.

A few common changes we often recommend:
💧 Switching to lighter moisturizers that still support the barrier (Aquaporin tagged)
💧 Re-evaluating your SPF and shade as your skin tone shifts with sun exposure (Colorescience Flex)
💧Slowly reintroducing more consistent exfoliation to keep pores clear and skin smooth

Skincare isn’t meant to stay the same all year. It should evolve with your skin & with the environment around you. Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference in how your skin looks and feels.

One question we hear all the time when it comes to Sculptra is about downtime.

It’s a little different than traditional filler, and that’s what we love about it!

Right after treatment, you may notice some fullness or swelling. What you’re initially seeing is mostly fluid volume, which your body gradually absorbs over the next few days.

As that settles, the real magic begins. Sculptra works by stimulating your own collagen, helping restore structure and support to the skin over time.

For the first 24 - 48 hours, we usually recommend keeping things simple:
📢 Skip intense workouts
📢Avoid heat like saunas or steam
📢Try not to sweat heavily
📢Avoid submerging your face in water
📢Give your skin a little time to settle

Most clients are back to normal routines very quickly, makeup can usually be worn the next day.
