Life's Medicine Life's Medicine was born in 2012 out of a genuine passion for helping people. I have been in practice for 21 years. This necessitates personalized care.

Life's Medicine provides a comprehensive suite of services designed to address a wide spectrum of health and wellness needs, reflecting our holistic and functional medicine orientation My name is Dr. Ana Isabel Lopez, I am a board certified Family Practice physician and have focused my medical career on common endocrine and medical conditions as well as helping patients obtain their ideal weight.

The conditions themselves, as well as the medications used to treat them, can significantly reduce the quality of life. Additionally, being overweight but otherwise healthy can also negatively affect a persons disposition and outlook on life. The first 13 years, right out of residency, were extremely rewarding, yet frustrating. The frustration would come from having to deal with the third party payer (aka insurance) and trying to do what is in the best interest of the patient. Insurance companies did not re-emburse for weight loss counseling! I was always trying to keep my patients off of medications. We were not always on the same page.Life's Medicine provides a comprehensive suite of services designed to address a wide spectrum of health and wellness needs, reflecting Dr. Lopez's holistic and functional medicine orientation. Life's Medicine approach is characterized by a strong emphasis on patient education, empowering individuals to take an active role in their wellness journey. We advocate for a holistic evaluation, considering the whole person—their lifestyle, diet, stressors, and medical history—rather than focusing on isolated symptoms. Here at Life's Medicine we dedicate time to genuinely listen to each patient's story to understand how best to support their health.This patient-centric model is further supported by our decision to establish a cash-pay practice, a move designed to prioritize the best interests of our patients, free from the constraints often imposed by insurance company reimbursements.
