Inspire Physical Therapy And Wellness

Inspire Physical Therapy And Wellness At Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness our patients are our #1 priority, not the insurance company!

Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness was created by Jennifer McCauley, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Julie Henderson in 2018. Jennifer worked in traditional in-network and HMO settings throughout her career and became frustrated by the lack of one on one care she could give patients. She knew that this lack of attention often lead to longer healing times and frustrated patients. She believed patients deserved better than this and that she was capable of making it happen. This is what inspired her to create a practice dedicated to the patient, not the insurance company. In 2017 Jennifer and Julie met and they quickly discovered one another's passion to start something impactful in their community and that is where Inspire Physical Therapy and Wellness was born. We are committed to listening to our patients and will work with them to come up with a holistic approach to their care that not only allows them to move past pain and injury but to also improve performance and health.

When most people think “core,” they picture abs and planks…
but your core is an entire system, and DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) helps train it the way your body was designed to move.

DNS focuses on how your brain and muscles communicate, the patterns you learned as a baby that create stability for life.

Here’s why DNS matters:

🔗 It connects your diaphragm, pelvic floor, deep core, and spine
These structures function as a single pressure system, not as isolated muscles.

🎯 It improves movement efficiency
Instead of over-bracing or gripping, DNS teaches your body to stabilize naturally.

🏃‍♀️ It boosts athletic performance
Better core control = smoother running, stronger lifting, more powerful movement.

💥 It reduces pain at the source
Many “weak core” issues are actually coordination problems, not strength problems.

DNS doesn’t just make you stronger, it helps your whole body move smarter.

If you want core stability that actually lasts, DNS is a game-changer.

Ask us how DNS can support your goals.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is one of the gentlest techniques we use, but it works deeply.
By calming the nervous system, releasing hidden tension and supporting natural healing, CST helps your body shift out of stress and into ease.

It reaches areas you can’t stretch and pairs perfectly with pelvic floor work, DNS and manual therapy.

CST isn’t about force, it’s about helping your body finally let go.

Ask us how CST can fit into your plan.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “we treat the root cause”… but what does that actually mean?

Most people chase symptoms:
• Stretch the tight area
• Massage the painful spot
• Ice the irritated joint
• Strengthen the muscle that feels weak

But here’s the truth:
👉 Pain is often just the output
👉 Compensation patterns are the real story

Root-cause care looks deeper.
It asks questions like:
✓ Why is that muscle tight?
✓ Why is that joint overloaded?
✓ Why is your body compensating this way?
✓ What movement patterns or stressors started this cycle?

At Inspire Physical Therapy & Wellness, we use tools such as DNS, NKT, visceral manipulation and pelvic floor assessment to uncover the actual driver, not just the noisy symptom.

When you find the root cause, treatment becomes more straightforward, more transparent and far more effective.
Not guesswork. Not endless stretching.
Just honest answers and lasting change.

Curious what’s driving YOUR symptoms? Book an evaluation.

Most people think of “pelvic floor” and immediately picture postpartum recovery…
but here’s the truth: your pelvic floor is working every time you run, lift, jump or stabilize your core.

If you’re an active adult, your pelvic floor is one of your most important teammates.
Here’s why:

🏃‍♂️ Running

Your pelvic floor helps absorb impact, control rotation, and keep your hips steady.
If it’s weak or overworked, you might feel hip pain, low back tightness, or “leaking” during high-impact activities.

🏋️‍♀️ Lifting

The pelvic floor and diaphragm work together to manage pressure.
If this system isn’t coordinated, you may notice coning, bracing too hard or feeling unstable in heavy lifts.

💪 Core Stability

Your core isn’t just abs.
The pelvic floor acts as the base of your core system, helping you stay in control through every movement, from planks to plyometrics.

The takeaway?
Every athlete has a pelvic floor. Every active adult benefits from training.
Not too tight. Not too weak. Not forgotten.

Save this for your next training day and tag someone who needs to hear this today.
