If you're anything like me, you like to have a handy list of easy-peasy, quick lunch ideas! Thought I would share and hopefully help someone save a little bit of time this week or at least be a reminder to be mindful of the foods we eat! Fast food can be healthy too and right from your fridge! Have a great Monday!

Just wanted to share some helpful tips and things I’ve been working on myself. We gotta support each other on these journeys! ☺️ Message me to if you want to join me & other friends on a call on Wednesday 4/29 & talk about how we can support our bodies and finally feel nourished!

#1. The timing of when I feed my body and with what foods has made such a difference in supporting or draining my energy.
#2. Some days I don’t eat as my body needs and the bloating and side effects are real. Our cells need proper minerals and vitamins to be able to function as designed and maintain the inflammatory and stress responses constantly attacking us.
#3. Lowering stress is often the most difficult but is so crucial to help all of our systems and cells thrive. Sleep is something I’m still working on, but I have learned it is impossible to function optimally without that true rest and full body reset of at least 7-8 hrs sleep every night.
#4. Hydration helps flush all the toxins and balance our bodies. Lymphatic drainage slows with sedentary lifestyles, poor intake/hydration, and doesn’t have a pump system like the heart to help move the fluid.

I hope you are able to join me on 4/29 so we can support each other and learn about all the ways we each try to take care of these child bearing, aging, exhausted bodies! 🥰

These last few weeks have been full of reading and researching and learning and more reading… trying to find out all I can about these symptoms and why my labs are off and what is the cause of all of this??? Well, I now have thrown myself head first into discovering the why. 😆 Just like the spring flowers and their readiness for new growth in a new season, I find myself with the same feelings! I’m hard at work here in my little corner… working toward my own personal growth in the new season. I’m so excited for what’s to come! What is something you’re working on as we welcome this spring season 2026??

Dinner can be fun, colorful, and delicious! And always better with a little helper! Carrots, red cabbage, cucumber, red onion, thyme, lemon, olive oil, Manuka honey, cherry tomatoes, and ofc… chick peas! 2 years ago this would never have been on my table. 😆 live and learn! Love all the goodness our bodies get from these nutrients! What’s your favorite ingredient in your chick pea salad?

I have learned a lot about fibroids this week after discovering I have several hanging out with me! These pesky guys can be very painful and annoying! I know they are very common and wanted to learn any of your remedies! These non-cancerous growths can be friendly and just hide out, or they can act out and make you want to evict them today! I have learned cycle eating, castor packs, heating pads, lots of fruits and veggies for vitamins C and iron, limit red meat, anti-inflammatory herbs and foods, and lots of rest are all good ideas to help shrink/manage symptoms. I have also seen several tinctures and herbs that could potentially help with pain and hormonal balance. What support have you or someone you know tried and what were the results?

Just sitting at my desk, enjoying the snow fall…. And ofc my hot herbal tea! Want to know which herb is my fave? Dandelion! It is soooo helpful for our bodies!! Here are a few reasons why i love it!

-flushes toxins by working as a natural diuretic, improving fluid retention
-contains antioxidants like beta carotene that help protect our cells and fight inflammation
-improves gut health with prebiotic properties, can ease constipation, and improve digestion
-contains lots of awesome vitamins like A,C,K, and E and minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium

Do you love dandelion tea too? Or are you interested in trying it? Lmk your thoughts! Just wait until spring and we can share lots of recipes like using dandelions in salads and pastas! Tell me what your favorite herb is and why!

We just got back from a very long, very frustrating grocery run. Ughhhh! Shoot me a text if you still need to go before the storm hits so I can personally pray for you! We had to make some lemon balm, ashwagandha, and lavender tea to calm our nerves as soon as we got home! ☺️ anyone else just ready to get through this weekend already?!

Welcome to Wishing WellNis! My name is Anisa, and my friends and family call me Nis. I am so glad you decided to check out my page! I began my personal wellness journey in October 2024. After a life of chronic illness and inflammation showing up as asthma, allergies, chronic sinus infections, and obesity, I decided it was time for a real change. Years of dieting and different types of supplementing left me feeling defeated. I was desperate for a change. After a gazillion rabbit holes and nights of lying awake thinking about how our crazy world keeps us sick, I decided to finally put in the work. As of January 2026, I have lost 56 pounds and feel so much better! I was on the brink of needing BP and cholesterol meds and being an RN, I know that starting meds means it can alter other systems in our body requiring more meds to help those issues. So, I was determined to get healthy. If you’re like me and would like a support system, then this is the place for you! Whether you’re new to wellness, established in a holistic way of life, or totally clueless or pessimistic about it, there is a place for you here in this positive space! We are all learning as we go! My goal is for a monthly online meeting where I will share info on a topic and give a recipe for a food, juice, or household product. Also, (if anyone should be interested) an occasional meetup for coffee, tea, a candle making session, trying out a new body scrub recipe... I am here for all that too! It is a place to support each other in motherhood, trying to do what’s best for our kiddos and families, and finding healthier alternatives in a world that constantly encourages un-wellness. If you’re ready for a change, just jump in! I have faith in you! You've got this! I am here for you, cheering you on, and as always, Wishing WellNis!
