At Southport Barre, our teachers are kind of like your favorite playlist — each one has a totally different vibe, and you love them all for different reasons. ✨🎶

We bring our quirks, our personalities, our go-to moves, and our fully authentic selves straight into the studio. Some of us bring the spice, some bring the calm, some bring the sparkle — but we all bring the love. 🤍

And behind all that fun? Years of training, practice, and teaching. We know our stuff, and we lead with heart every single time.

Lotte Berk created her method for non-dancers — accessible, effective, and built for every body. Sure, dancers often love barre, but you don’t need a dance background to become a barre student.

I certainly didn’t! Years ago, I walked into my first barre class with zero dance experience, creaky joints, and more than a little fear. But I discovered what Lotte knew all along — if you show up and stay consistent, these exercises don’t fail you.

Now I’m stronger, more flexible, and yes, my joints still creak — but I feel amazing.
