What a huge success for local families in need this time of year !

Hi Erik here ,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Primum Non Nocere Foundation for their donation of 2 empty EMS BLS Bags for some volunteer coordination I am doing via our foundation with our Local Wrestling and Baskettball Teams ! I have been nothing but honored with the partnership I have with The Primum Non Nocere Foundation. They helped me get The Start Start Em Early Foundation off and running.

Today we delivered our 2 hour lecture on Sensory Disorders for First Responders and a total of 6 Sensory Sacks to The Charton , MA Fire Department. A successful training ! Thanks to all the first responders for what they do !

My Son's Wrestling Team Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School District had the honor and pleasure of a coaching clinic session from world renowned coach Carolyn Webster of Wrestling Prep.

The Toys for Tots National Drive is wrapping up and we are supporting our local town toy drive. " The Southwick Civic Fund" ! Drop Boxes can still be found at The Southwick Fire Department and The Southwick Community Episcopal Church until December 20th, 2023. Selfies With Santa With Santa will be Saturday December 16th, 2023. Bring a new and unwrapped toy and take a pic with Santa !

The Southwick Community Episcopal Church, the Southwick Fire Department, and the Start Em Early Foundation are teaming up this Holiday Season to support 2 Great Toy Drive Charities, the United States Marines Toys for Tots, and the Southwick Civic Fund!

2 Drop Boxes will be centrally located in town. (1) at the Southwick Fire Department in the Main Lobby and (1) at the Southwick Community Episcopal Church in the Lobby.

Collection Schedules:

Western MASS USMC Toys for Tots from Sunday, October 29 until Wednesday, November 29, 2023, with the Marines picking up on December 1.

The Southwick Civic Fund Drive will start immediately on December 1st until December 20th with a Toy Drive at the Southwick Community Episcopal Church Selfies with Santa on Saturday, December 16th from 9am to 11 am.

Both charities are asking for new, unwrapped toys to be distributed at Christmas time. You also have the option to put a "Gift Tag" on your donation to designate what charity you would like to donate to.

For immediate publication:

The foundation will be going through some changes over the next Year. Mainly changes in Direction and adding programs. With that said. I am stepping down as director. I am handing the full direction over to my wife Jo-Ann Davidson. Jo-Ann is currently finishing her Certificate of Advanced Graduated Degree in Secondary Education at Springfield College. Once completed after The beginning of 2024 she plans on meeting with Dr. Lori Vaughn and discussing the direction of The Start Em Early Foundation. I will still be involved as speaker, and primary CPR/First Aid instructor, but being retired from the field has found me enjoying more time with my kids, camping and finding some more soul time. Hello.... is this thing on? 0 volunteers so far have contacted us, so we're assuming our last post about Motocross didn't come through. Second try...

On July 8th, the Southwick Rec Center will be parking cars in support of Motocross Nationals. We are looking for volunteers who would like to help our organization with its biggest fundraising event of the year.

We need volunteers to park cars, act as check points, provide breaks to others, etc. If you are on NHS, this will count towards your community service hours which are required.
