Many loved ones have asked about Dhira’s recent visitor. It’s true! We had a visit from the infinite! Patanjali says we should focus on Ananta, the infinite, while practicing asana! Well, Our practice has paid off.
Our years of devotion to the infinite, our practice of Anantasana, has been auspiciously rewarded with a boon. Ananta Shesha himself appeared at Dhira two days ago, when we woke up from our shavasana, our co**se pose.
In Hindu cosmology, Ananta Shesha is the infinite serpent on whom Lord Vishnu rests, floating on the cosmic ocean.
Ananta Symbolizes infinity, eternity, stability, “what remains” at the end of each yoga practice, each turn of the wheel, and the foundation of the universe to come.
ANANTA serves as a Sthira Sukham Asana, A Steady Comfortable Seat (or bed) for Vishnu, a necessity for Lord Vishnu’s dreaming up a new (and improved), a steady and comfortable, a happy, universe! OM Shanti Shanti Shanti
Shesha holdis all planets on his 1000 hoods.
“Before land, before sky — there was the ocean.
And upon it, the infinite serpent.
In his coils rests the universe,
and on his back… the dream of creation.”
Jai Ananta! Jai Vishnu! Jai Bramha!
Or it could have been a garden snake.🐍
Who do you think it was?
