Many loved ones have asked about Dhira’s recent visitor. It’s true! We had a visit from the infinite! Patanjali says we should focus on Ananta, the infinite, while practicing asana! Well, Our practice has paid off.

Our years of devotion to the infinite, our practice of Anantasana, has been auspiciously rewarded with a boon. Ananta Shesha himself appeared at Dhira two days ago, when we woke up from our shavasana, our co**se pose.
In Hindu cosmology, Ananta Shesha is the infinite serpent on whom Lord Vishnu rests, floating on the cosmic ocean.

Ananta Symbolizes infinity, eternity, stability, “what remains” at the end of each yoga practice, each turn of the wheel, and the foundation of the universe to come.

ANANTA serves as a Sthira Sukham Asana, A Steady Comfortable Seat (or bed) for Vishnu, a necessity for Lord Vishnu’s dreaming up a new (and improved), a steady and comfortable, a happy, universe! OM Shanti Shanti Shanti
Shesha holdis all planets on his 1000 hoods.

“Before land, before sky — there was the ocean.
And upon it, the infinite serpent.
In his coils rests the universe,
and on his back… the dream of creation.”
Jai Ananta! Jai Vishnu! Jai Bramha!

Or it could have been a garden snake.🐍

A Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa; a monument to inspire peace, designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds, and to help unite them in their search for world peace. Most (though not all) peace pagodas built since World War II have been built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii (1885–1985), a Buddhist monk from Japan and founder of the Nipponzan-Myōhōji Buddhist Order. Fujii was greatly inspired by his meeting with Mahatma Gandhi in 1931 and decided to devote his life to promoting non-violence. In 1947, he began constructing Peace Pagodas as shrines to World peace.
Peace Pagodas were built as a symbol of peace in Japanese cities including Hiroshima and Nagasaki where the atomic bombs took the lives of over 150,000 people, almost all of whom were civilian, at the end of World War II. By 2000, eighty Peace Pagodas had been built around the world in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

“When we believe in the just truth of the law of causation, we must completely abolish armaments, not only nuclear weapons, but all tools of killing and destruction and all means of war…Preserving the precept against taking life taught by the Buddha is the assurance of Peace and Tranquility in this world.”

“The single gate open for humanity to escape the  conflagration that consumes the three fold world is none other than Nonviolence…that is the nature of religion. The Path for genuine liberation is there for humanity to choose with courage, faith in humanity, and spiritual values.”
— Words of
Most Venerable Nichidatsu Fujii Guruji

Four armed (and forewarned!) illusion
Or Kali!

In stories of conflict between gods and demons, multiple arms highlight the deity’s readiness and capacity to fight evil forces and restore balance to the universe. Kali is a mother goddess always ready to protect against violence, greed and lust.

Her hands hold a sword which is a symbol of the divine knowledge of our true nature and what makes us all one. The divine knowledge cuts away the ignorance (avidya) of identifying only with the mind and body, and a severed human head represents the human ego that must be slain (asmita) to attain spiritual liberation (moksha). Like Kali’s partner (the Lord of Yoga, Shiva), “Dakshina Kali”, as she is called in this four armed form, is actually a benevolent mother goddess. She protects the good against evil by imparting divine wisdom, destroying egos, fighting against all forms of violence and selfish desires like lust, anger and greed. Don’t mess with the Mother Goddess Kali, adorned with a necklace of severed egos. You stand no chance against Mother Goddesses. Jai (Victory to) Kali! Jai Durga! Jai Saraswati! Jai Parvati!

Light a light tonight and bring it with you for outdoor yoga (7pm on the green) and for Rose. It got dark quickly last week. Light departed and Shavasana (co**se pose) was so dark. So this week bring a candle or a lantern and light the way tonight. Open your heart to the heavens. Love remains, as always. ❤️🌹💪
