The Stellest lens has been proven to slow myopia progression by 71% on average over two years! That is to say if your child’s eyes are getting worse every year this will help slow that down so they don’t have a Higher risk of glaucoma, retinopathy, retinal detachments later in life.
The rings you are seeing on this video in the lens are part of the HALT technology. The HALT technology consists of 1021 highly aspherical lenslets, arranged over 11 rings of continuous ringlets, covering 40% of the lens surface.
This causes myopic defocus providing a myopia progression slowdown signal.

Another semester coming to an end with our RMU students. They take their boards on Monday/Tuesday and we wish them all the best of luck! It’s been so much fun watching them learn and grow. Dr Mendenhall has been great at teaching them and answering all their questions. And the patients have been great at helping them learn on them.
