Practicing yoga or other kinds of physical movement in conjunction with your therapy work can make a big difference in reducing trauma or other depression and anxiety symptoms. In September, we had a yoga night taught by our awesome office manager, Danica, who is trained in trauma informed yoga. It was so healing as we listened to the birds and stretched in the grass.
Winter is coming, so let's all fight the seasonal depression with movement! Find what works for you through the cold months and you will have a better chance at maintaining your mood! ❄️
