Ahh, the myth of multitasking. You may say, “No, seriously, I can multitask phenomenally well.” That may be true for surface level things, or when you’ve properly prioritized multiple steps (like me recording this video while my pancakes were in the microwave). But things that require focus (or both hands like fixing breakfast 😂) can not be done truly simultaneously with something else that requires focus. We cannot do two cognitive tasks at one time. So, for those of us with ADHD, who have multiple thoughts going on at once, navigating through this can be complicated and very stressful, especially when we don’t know what’s going on and why.

I am just starting with the Spiral Bible but I am loving it so far. Consistency is a struggle, especially with super long devotionals. This is manageable and I love the notebook feel. My brain did glitch and for some reason I thought it was an actual Bible. It is not, it’s a Bible reading plan & weekly devotional. Somedays I’m wishing there was more, but it allows me to meditate on a small amount of scripture. And, I believe that because it’s short, I will be able to keep it going and if I miss one day, it’s not a big deal to read two in one day. So far this seems like a great reading plan for my ADHD brain. I’ll keep you posted.
