We are thrilled to invite you to Heroes & Hugs. This event was designed to help introduce individuals with special needs and/or disabilities and Gulf Shores law enforcement & firefighters. Please join us for an afternoon of bonding the special needs community with those who serve.

Please join us from 12PM-2PM, Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2025 at Johnnie Sims Park Pavilion. We will be serving light refreshments and adding to the fun with games, a photo booth and an enclosed playground with elopers in mind. So bring your special ones out. We can’t wait to see you there!

USSAAC presents AAC Parent Night August 5th featuring a panel of AAC users.

Come play with us at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo!!! We are so excited about collaborating with the zoo and SHOW Baldwin Inc. - Special Humans Outreach & Wellness for this event!

We are so excited to partner with SHOW Baldwin Inc. - Special Humans Outreach & Wellness and Let's Play Therapy Center to host our first Sensory Friendly Morning on Sunday, June 29, from 9 am - 12 pm. Special admission price of $10 for all ages 3+, (2 and under free).

The morning will include designated quiet areas, sensory activities, and more to allow every family member to enjoy the wonders of the Zoo.
