Here’s the latest pollen report for our area:

🌳 Trees remain the only active pollinators at this time.
Last week’s snow storms appear to have temporarily paused some pollinators in their efforts, bringing the overall tree pollen count down into the moderate range.

🌲 Pollen Breakdown:

Juniper/Cedar: 38%

Elm: 28%

Other Trees (34% total): Cottonwood, Ash, Birch, Alder, Maple, Pine

🌾 Grass and w**d pollens are currently absent, which is seasonally appropriate for this time of year.

🚨 UPDATE: Scratch that, folks!

Due to the worsening weather conditions and the number of cancellations we’ve received, our providers have decided to close the office early so our staff can travel home safely during daylight hours.

🕒 We will be closing today at 3:00 PM.
🌤 We plan to reopen tomorrow at 8:00 AM and resume regular business hours, weather permitting.

Even though the calendar still says winter, local pollinators are telling a different story! Area trees are already looking toward spring — and this week’s pollen count reflects it.

And it’s all tree pollen right now!

Here’s the breakdown:

🌳 Elm – 57% of the total count (most prominent)

🌿 Ash

🌲 Juniper/Cedar

🌱 A mix of other trees including alder, cottonwood, maple, box elder, willow, and birch

🚫 Grass and w**d pollens are absent, as expected for this early in the season.

If you’ve noticed increased allergy symptoms lately, tree pollen is likely the culprit — despite the chilly, wintery weather!

Thanks to the mild weather we’ve been experiencing — and an increase in patient reports of allergy symptoms — we’ve officially resumed pollen collection and counts for the 2026 season.

📊 What you need to know:

Pollen counts will now be reported weekly, weather permitting
(Rain or other precipitation can skew results and may delay collection.)

Current pollen levels are LOW

Only tree pollen is present, broken down as:

🌲 50% Juniper/Cedar

🌳 50% Birch, Elm & Pine (combined)

🚫 No grass or w**d pollen detected at this time
