🎗️ Cancer may have started the fight, but MAVERICK is gonna finish it 🎗️

Maverick has been hit with a little cold 🦠 the last few days but wanted to share some udates ⬇️

He had a ABC Fashion Show at school last week where he got the letter M. He had to fill the bag vest with all things starting with an M he liked. 📣

Then he finished with decorating the tree!

Mavericks weekend consisted of:

Halloween 🎃
All day Saturday soccer - 10am game, 12:30 game, 7pm championship game (WINNERS) ⚽️🥇
Birthday Party attending 🎉

HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all of our friends!

Maverick geared up for school in his costume for the school parade, and of course had to have his outfit underneath to fit as well!

The MIGHTY little guy himself checked into Johns Hopkins Children's Center this morning for his one year CT scan.

After that he had a follow up appointment in clinic, and made a stop on the inpatient side too - where all the nurses and doctors were so happy to see him, and amazed at where he is today!

And GUESS WHAT - normal labs, and a CLEAR CT.

Mavericks ONE YEAR MRI SCAN IS CLEAR!!!

NO evidence of any residual or recurrent tumor, GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏼 forever praying and always blessed.

All checked in and ready to go!

ONE YEAR MRI scans here he comes! This morning called for an early one, up at 5:45 and out the door at 6:30 for 7 a.m. check in.

Maverick is now in pre-op and getting ready to head back for his 3 hour MRI scan and then to recovery he goes.

Let’s all pray for a smooth scan and GREAT RESULTS! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

As we are gearing up for 12 month scans next week we wanted to update everyone with school pictures, soccer pictures, and fun fall pictures! Been enjoying all of the moments, all of the time!

💛🎗️ Today is the last day of Childhood Cancer
Awareness Month.

But here's the truth: kids don't stop being diagnosed just because the calendar flips to October. Families don't stop grieving. Survivors don't stop living with the scars.

Every September, families who've already endured the unthinkable pick the torch back up to create awareness - when they deserve to set it down. They deserve to breathe. They deserve to heal. And yet, year after year, it's grieving parents, siblings, and survivors carrying the heaviest weight to make sure the world doesn't forget.

Don't let awareness end. Don't let these kids fade into the noise of a new month. Carry them with you. Share their stories. Support research. Show up.
They've given everything. Now it's OUR turn. 🫶🏼🙏🏼

Jimmy's Famous Seafood outdid themself making Mavericks night! He met his other favorite, Zay Flowers with the Baltimore Ravens!

Tonight, at this venue there was a line wrapped around the building a number of times. The team here took Maverick inside, through the back, then taken to a room, and was #1 in line for a meet and greet with Zay.

A surprise that made THE BEST NIGHT 😈🏈👍🏽

🦷🪥

One step closer to catching up! Maverick had a dentist appointment where he was a little timid, but was treated with the best care. From treatment he needed to have his teeth checked, examined, and cleaned to make sure no effects. Turned out, NONE and his teeth are great!

Maverick also had his first pediatrician appointment post treatment to catch up on vaccines, a physical, and eye exam - the SAME DAY.
