Our Story
The RPI personal escape system was designed and developed by career firefighter Christopher Botti. Chris is currently with the FDNY assigned to Squad 1 in Brooklyn, and has more than 15 years of experience in the fire service. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Western Carolina University.
The highly experienced training staff provided by RPI is comprised of active and retired firefighters. The team of instructors consists of members from the FDNY, FDNY-Special Operations Command, the New Jersey Rescue Task Force, and other career firefighters. RPI has the ability to bring training to fire companies who purchase the system through their specially designed mobile trainer, allowing RPI to provide one-on-one, hands on training for firefighters at your facility. In December of 2017, RPI expanded their training offerings across Northern, NJ with 15 new instructors as demand grew in the area.
