Annual escape system training is not something to check off once and forget. These are high-risk, low-frequency skills that demand repetition, confidence, and muscle memory when the pressure is on. When seconds count, how long can you wait?

Your escape system is only as effective as your ability to deploy it quickly, correctly, and under stress. Annual training helps firefighters stay sharp, identify weaknesses, build confidence, and make sure the equipment and the operator are both ready when it matters most.

RPI is here to help your department stay prepared with realistic, hands-on training that reinforces the skills needed for the fireground.

Another solid training program in the books with the West Orange Fire Department.

RPI recently delivered an in depth SCBA Refresher and Emergency Procedures class focused on real world skills firefighters depend on when conditions get tough. Members drilled on proper mask confidence, emergency air management, entanglement procedures, Mayday considerations, and the critical actions that keep crews safe when things go wrong.

SCBA skills are perishable. Taking the time to review, practice, and refine them is what separates a routine call from a bad day on the fireground. West Orange continues to invest in realistic, hands on training to make sure their members are prepared for whatever they face.

Strong work by everyone involved.

If your department needs SCBA refreshers, emergency procedures, or any other fireground training, RPI is ready to help.
