This week is Mental Illness Awareness Week, a time to educate, advocate, and break the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

🧠 1 in 5 adults experiences a mental illness each year — yet too many still feel they must struggle in silence. Awareness is the first step in creating communities where people feel safe to seek help and supported in their healing.

🌟 Exciting News at AJ Falkers Counseling & Consulting Services! 🌟

We are overjoyed to share that Molly Ripley is officially returning to AJ Falkers Counseling — this time as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT)!

Molly first joined our team as a clinical intern, and over the course of the past 10 months, she truly became part of our AJ Falkers family. Throughout her internship, she demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and a genuine heart for serving others. Molly’s ability to connect with clients, provide support during difficult times, and approach her work with creativity and care left a lasting impression on both her clients and colleagues.

Her journey with us has now come full circle, and we are honored that she chose to begin the next step in her professional career here at AJ Falkers Counseling & Consulting Services. As an LPC-IT, under the supervision of Dr. Amanda J. Falkers, Molly will continue to build on her strengths, grow in her clinical skills, and support our mission of being Rooted in Care • Empowering Growth • Supporting Your Journey.

✨ A Warm Welcome to Our New Interns! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Katie, Jordan, and Paul to AJ Falkers Counseling & Consulting Services as our newest Clinical Interns! 💙🧡

Each of these amazing individuals brings unique strengths, diverse experiences, and a passion for supporting others through life’s challenges. Katie comes to us as a Certified Social Worker with experience in the correctional system and programming that focuses on growth and change. Jordan brings a strong foundation in counseling and a dedication to helping clients navigate life’s ups and downs. Paul offers his own strengths, commitment, and compassion, ready to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing and growth.

As Clinical Interns, they will be serving our communities under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Falkers, gaining valuable hands-on training while making a difference in the lives of those they work with. We are honored to be part of their journey as they step further into their professional roles in the mental health field.

💜 I cannot say enough about my amazing team at AJ Falkers Counseling.

The compassion and support they bring every single day was once again shown this weekend as they came out on a beautiful Saturday morning to participate in the Monroe County Su***de Prevention Task Force Be the Light Run/Walk. Together, we stood in support of Su***de Prevention Awareness and in memory of those we’ve lost.

I am so proud and grateful to stand alongside such a dedicated and caring team. 💛💚
