David started helping us at Twin Oaks when he was in high school with the ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian one day, and today, he did just that!!

Not only are we so proud of him but we are excited to announce that he will be joining us as our newest veterinarian starting Monday!

Sacko is a young, gentle giant who is a lot more likely to be scared of his own shadow than anything else — despite being about 60 lbs, he’s all heart and softness.

He absolutely loves other doggy friends and enjoys their company. On leash, he walks nicely and is eager to please, making outings with him a calm and enjoyable experience.

Sacko also stands out with his beautiful brindle patch coat and striking one blue eye — a truly unique boy, inside and out, just like his name suggests.

This sweet guy is looking for a patient, loving home that will help him build confidence and show him that the world isn’t so scary after all. In return, Sacko will give you quiet loyalty, gentle companionship, and a whole lot of love. 🐶✨

Oakley is a young heeler mix who’s still learning the ropes. He may have spent most of his life as an outdoor dog, so things like leash walking and meeting new people are still a little scary at first. His caution comes from fear, not aggression — and once he realizes he’s safe, his sweet and affectionate side comes out quickly.

Oakley hasn’t shown any aggression toward other dogs or around food, and he keeps his kennel clean, which suggests he may already be housebroken.

He just needs a calm home and someone willing to give him a little patience while he settles in. Once he feels comfortable, Oakley is the kind of dog who will happily climb into your lap and soak up all the love he can get. ❤️
