🎉 Winner of Life Care Center of Sparta's 2025 Annual Whatever It Takes Champions Award: Charity Locke! 🎉

Charity exemplifies the true heart of a servant, going above and beyond for our residents each and every day. Charity also won our monthly Whatever It Takes Award Champions in July 2025, nominated by a coworker for assisting a married couple who had discharged home from our facility. Charity assisted with packing their belonging into her personal vehicle, following the couple home, and carrying their belongings inside. She then assisted them with unpacking and settling back in. She also cleaned their home, went to pick up their dinner, and made sure they were okay for the night before she left, providing them with her contact information in case they needed anything.

She went back to their home the next morning to check on them and deliver breakfast prior to coming to work. After working her scheduled shift, she returned once again to check on them and bring dinner. She also checked their food supply to ensure they would have plenty to eat. Charity was assisted in the funding of their meals by 2 additional associates. It has now been several months since the discharge, and Charity still checks in on the couple frequently. 😊

We are so blessed to have Charity as a part of our team. Congratulations, Charity! 👏❤️

Our Whatever It Takes Champion Award winner for October 2025 was Whittney Goines. 🎉

Whittney is our Social Services Assistant and has been with Life Care Center of Sparta for almost 2 years. She was nominated by an associate for her caring approach with our residents. Whittney helped a new resident to feel comfortable who was refusing all care. Her kind approach helped him adjust to our facility and staff members. We are so blessed to have her on our team! 🩷

Our Whatever It Takes Champion Award winner for December 2025 was Ashley Mims! 🎉 Ashley is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has been with Life Care Center of Sparta for almost a year.

🌟 Ashley was nominated by a coworker for her giving heart around the holiday season. Ashley used her own money and purchased gifts for our residents and came to the facility on her day off to personally deliver the gifts. 🎁 Ashely demonstrates true selflessness and compassion, and we are so blessed to have her on our team!

Our Whatever It Takes Champion Award winner for November 2025 was Laverne Fisher! 🎉

Laverne is our Medical Records Director and has been with Life Care Center of Sparta for 12 years serving our building in numerous positions over the years. Laverne was nominated for going above and beyond to make sure one of our new residents adjusted to our facility. The resident shares the same religious beliefs with Laverne, and Laverne offered to meet with the resident and take her to church services. ⛪ The resident was overjoyed to be able to attend church services with Laverne at her church. Thank you, Laverne, for going the extra mile! We are so blessed to have you on our team! Congratulations, Laverne! 👏
