I know it's going to be a great day when my first appointment is a Vital Body Massage 💚
All the anti-inflammatories help the client, but they also help me! My arms and hands usually feel much less fatigued on days I have a Vital Body Massage on the books.

Lash lifts are back! I have had a hard time sourcing the product, and multiple companies have been out for months. So I finally decided to try a new company. I'm still in the testing phases to make sure it is decent and lasts as long as it should- but so far its been 2 weeks, and its been great! I plan to have then back on the website next week.

For everyone that has been waiting, I'll be reaching out to you first, so we can get ya on the books!

This month makes 1 year since I opened Studio Hygeia! Since I am still meeting so many new people, and get so many questions about myself, I thought I would reintroduce myself.
Hi, I'm Ashley.
I'm a wife, U.S Navy veteran, dog mom, and licensed massage therapist, master esthetician and cosmetologist (though I don't practice cosmetology much anymore).
I studied nursing in Hawaii, and decided to take a break and go to Cosmetology school 😆 (also in Hawaii). From there I realized I loved skincare, so once I graduated I signed up for a more advanced master esthetician program in Seattle. I worked as a master esthetician alongside massage therapists for about 7 years and realized how transformative massage was to so many people, including myself. So I signed up for massage school in Colorado (where I am originally from..no not Denver... about 4 hours west of Denver and 1 hour east of Moab 🤣 those seem to be the only places people really know) My husband and I moved to Missouri to be closer to his family and that's when I was lucky enough to find space for rent in the Sparta Family Dental building. I currently offer a variety of massage, facial and lash services, with more being added as time goes on.

When I'm not in the Studio, you can find me chasing my chickens, paddling one of the many rivers in Missouri, or dabbling in stained glass and photography.

I've also had many questions about my studio's name! When I was in the navy, I spent a lot of time in Greece, and that's really where I was introduced to spa culture. So I thought it only fitting I give my space a greek name, hence Hygeia-the mythical goddess of good health- which is also what the snake symbolizes.
