Caregiver burnout is real- and we’re gonna talk about it.
We are launching a monthly series of tips for caregivers, because we can’t do this work, or support our clients, without supporting each other!
This month we are starting with the basics: What is burnout? What does it look like? How can it affect us?
Caregiver Burnout: A state of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion that occurs when caring for someone else.
It can feel like fatigue, anxiety, or even depression. You may also feel overwhelmed or isolated. Burnout looks different for every person experiencing it. Unfortunately, it is all too common in our line of work- over 60% of caregivers experience symptoms of burnout at some point in their career.
At Circle of Angels, we believe in supporting our caregivers as much as we support our clients. That means offering not only professional guidance, but also emotional and mental health support when it is needed the most.
Every month we’ll be sharing practical tips and insights we've gained through years of caregiving experience. If you or someone you know is showing signs of burnout, please reach out. Whether you need a listening ear or help finding resources- we’re here for you.
