Meet Amanda Dover, Assistant Nurse Manager of the Resource Pool and leader of the SNA/SNI Program at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System 💙

She started as a night-shift RN on a stepdown unit, advanced into an Assistant Nurse Manager role, and two years ago transitioned into the Resource Pool ANM position. She is now working system-wide alongside Sheryl Lassiter to support and develop nursing talent across SRHS.

From bedside to leadership to mentoring the next generation of nurses… Amanda brings real experience and real insight.

Future Respiratory Therapists in the making! 🫁

✨ Corrine had a great time visiting the respiratory therapy students at , and she didn’t come alone! Our respiratory managers joined the visit, giving students the chance to connect directly with the leaders they could one day be working alongside.

From sharing career insights to answering questions about life in respiratory care, it was an exciting opportunity to discuss what a future in healthcare can look like. We love meeting students where they are and helping them take the next step toward their careers! 💙

38 years of nursing leadership. Decades of impact. 🎙️🩺

Meet Sheryl Lassiter; nurse manager of the Resource Pool at Spartanburg Medical Center. 💙

With 38 years of experience as an RN and 23 years at SRHS, Sheryl has spent the last 15 years leading the Resource Pool and supporting nurses across the system. She earned her BSN from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 1987, her MSN from American Sentinel University in 2014 and obtained her Nurse Executive–Advanced Certification in 2018.

She also played a key role in developing and launching the Student Nurse Associate (SNA) and Student Nurse Intern (SNI) programs, helping shape the pathway for future nurses within our system.
