🌟Staff Spotlight: C’Kala Humes 🌟
Innovation Coordinator | Tech & Inclusion Advocate | Plant & Turtle Parent
Meet C’Kala Humes, an Innovation Coordinator in Tennessee, who will be celebrating three years with the Charles Lea Center next month! 🎉
What C’Kala enjoys most about working at CLC is being part of the journey and growth of the participants they support while watching individuals achieve their goals and accomplish things they once thought were out of reach. 💚
C’Kala was inspired to work at the Charles Lea Center by the opportunity to be part of a community rooted in service, one that recognizes the importance of being a servant to others and creating meaningful, inclusive support.
In their role as Innovation Coordinator, C’Kala supports participants in the MAPs Program through innovation and technology, while collaborating with providers and stakeholders to identify needs and resources that promote greater independence and long-term success.
C’Kala brings an impressive educational background to the team, holding a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Outside of work, C’Kala enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active with sports and hiking, caring for their plants, and hanging out with their beloved turtle, A&M 🐢🌱.
Thank you, C’Kala, for your innovation, dedication, and commitment to empowering individuals at the Charles Lea Center ... we appreciate all that you do! 💚
