🌟 Staff Spotlight: Suzanne O’Brien 🌟
Health and Wellness Coordinator | Advocate for Body, Mind & Spirit | Proud Grandma of Two

Meet Suzanne O’Brien, who will celebrate 10 years with the Charles Lea Center this March! 🎉 Suzanne believes it’s the individuals who make CLC truly special and that belief shines through in the care and compassion she brings to her role every day.
💚 A proud mom and grandma, Suzanne is blessed with a daughter, two sons and two grandsons who bring so much joy to her life.

As the Health and Wellness Coordinator, Suzanne supports individuals and employees through the CLC’s onsite WeCare Health & Wellness Clinic, focusing on wellness of the body, mind, and spirit. She is passionate about advocacy and meeting people exactly where they are on their journey, offering support that is thoughtful, empowering, and genuine.

With some college experience and certifications as a Wellcoach and Yoga Instructor, Suzanne brings a holistic approach to wellness that aligns beautifully with Charles Lea’s mission.

Outside of work, Suzanne treasures time with her family … enjoying moments together when everyone can gather. She also shares her home with a 15-year-old fur baby dog 🐶 and a spunky 4-year-old cat 🐱.

Suzanne loves staying active and connected to nature through hiking, biking, hot yoga, and cold plunging, and she enjoys traveling to new places around the world. Through many life changes over the years, Suzanne is grateful for the space and purpose she has found at Charles Lea.

Staff Spotlight: Isaac Bishop
Director of Information Technology | Problem Solver | Tech Innovator

Meet Isaac Bishop, our Director of Information Technology, who has been part of the Charles Lea Center family for nearly 12 years! Isaac plays a vital role behind the scenes, helping ensure the technology that supports our mission runs smoothly every day.

What Isaac enjoys most about working at Charles Lea is the fulfillment that comes from helping the people we serve live more independently. He was drawn to the CLC because he wanted a career that truly makes a difference and he sees the positive impact of his work firsthand.

In his role, Isaac manages a wide range of systems across three states including networks, servers, phones, forms, and Wi-Fi, keeping everything connected and functioning. One of his favorite parts of the job is Research & Development, where he explores and implements new technology solutions to better support individuals, staff, and programs.

Isaac holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Limestone University and an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Technology from Spartanburg Community College, bringing both knowledge and innovation to his work.

Outside of work, Isaac loves spending time outdoors hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, working on cars, and tinkering with personal tech projects. He’s also a big fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Looking ahead, Isaac is excited about the future of the Charles Lea Center and the opportunity to help support even more people nationwide through technology.

Thank you, Isaac, for your dedication, innovation, and years of service to the Charles Lea Center! We’re grateful for all you do!
