Thankfully, the NG tube has been removed, and Kim has been able to return home. While she is still very weak, she is on the path to recovery and it may be an additional two weeks before she can return to work.
What we thought was an outpatient procedure has ended up being a 6 week ordeal. We are so thankful for answered prayers.
Kim has been overwhelmed by the love and support she has received—your heartfelt messages and generous donations have brought her to tears over and over again. She said, “I had no idea people cared about me this much.”
From the bottom of her heart and ours, thank you for surrounding her with love, encouragement, and kindness during this difficult time. Every prayer, message, and act of generosity has meant more than words can express.

We’re coming together to support someone incredibly special to us—Kim McCollum. Kim is a beloved person and someone who brings light, warmth, and kindness to everyone she meets.
What started as an outpatient surgery, quickly turned into something more serious when Kim was readmitted to the hospital shortly after her procedure. She is now under inpatient care with no clear discharge date, and we’re all focused on helping her heal without the added burden of financial stress.
This fundraiser is to help cover medical expenses that may not be fully covered by insurance, as well as any financial gaps that may arise during her recovery. Our goal is to give Kim the peace of mind she needs to focus entirely on getting better.
Kim has always been there for those around her—now it’s our turn to be there for her.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for helping us lift up someone who means so much to our community. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and please keep her in your prayers.
