Jennifer Stewart is a California Licensed Midwife, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, dedicated to natural birth and successful breastfeeding. With 14 years of experience in the midwifery field, eight of those being in private practice, her background, as a non-nurse midwife, is focused exclusively on out-of-hospital birth. Throughout her career, many unique situations have presented themselves, including twin pregnancies, breeches, and Vaginal Births After Cesarean (VBACs). In 2011, she obtained the national certification of Certified Professional Midwife with the North American Registry of Midwives. Until late 2011, her practice was based in the tri-state area of West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. November 2011, she relocated to Southern California to assist the families of the west coast in their desire to have natural, out-of-hospital pregnancies and births. It is this midwife’s goal to help every woman have the birth of her dreams through personalized prenatal care, nutritional counseling, support during labor and birth, and continual assistance with breastfeeding and other postpartum issues.

Oh 45. You're here. Almost a full 24 hours into the experience, in fact. I didn't want to turn 45. A decade ago it seemed impossible and so very far away. Like what kind of old lady crazy is that?!

But instead of it feeling like some kind of downhill, today I feel imbued with fresh energy. With hope and vision. My business is growing in some beautiful ways. I have THE BEST man for a husband. My life is filled with deep, true love from those who choose to call me family and friend. I've recommitted to learning, with personal and business development. And heck, I have a bearded dragon named Miata, since I don't own my little dream car yet. 😅

Today, age really is just a number, and we're celebrating this particular number all week long!

Cheers to the years ahead!! 🥂

He's my person. For always, and through anything.

I needed safe space to not be my best today. To struggle with life. I verbalized some frustrations that he understood and I just needed to say. We didn't talk a lot. It was as it needed to be. Grateful for my love. 💖

I got this deliciousssss bottle of chocolate milk because I had been told how good it was by a friend. Ok, I'll try it and share it with my husband later. Sorryyy , but it just slipped right out of the bottle and into my mouth. I tried to stop it. I kept pleading with it to stop the madness. But alas, it's all gone and I have none left to share.

My handsome dude had a vendor event today for the at the Social House Market. So proud of him and his hard work. He's simply the best. 💖
