Yesterday we proudly celebrated Jazmine on her 5-year anniversary as our Clinical Coordinator for our PCA Department.

Jazmine is the true definition of a go-getter. She began her journey as a PCA herself, and through dedication, compassion, and hard work, she climbed the ladder into leadership and now serves on our administrative team.Despite her administrative role, her heart for people remains the same. She still provides one-on-one care, trains and hires staff, and oversees dozens of employees and clients daily.

Family Caregivers represent one of South Carolina's most valuable resources as they provide uncompensated care for loved ones of all ages with extraordinary physical and mental health needs.

Today, Henry McMaster proclaims February 11, 2026, as Respite Awareness Day throughout the state and encourages all South Carolinians to recognize the importance of respite to families caring for a loved one of any age with special physical and/or mental needs.

Today, from 10 a.m. to Noon at the South Carolina State House, the South Carolina Respite Coalition will raise awareness about the importance of respite care for family caregivers.
