Our credentialed care teams in Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, and Virginia have achieved the Workforce Leader designation for Dementia Capable Care from the Crisis Prevention Institute®. We are the first hospice organization in the country to earn this designation for our teams in all the states where we serve. Our dementia clinical specialty program focuses on approach and adaptation with comfort, safety, peace, and dignity. This designation recognizes our commitment to specialized training and care delivery for our patients with dementia.

On National Grief Awareness Day we recognize the compassionate work of our Grief Support Team. Grief looks different for everyone, and no one should have to face it alone. Our counselors walk alongside patients, families, and caregivers with empathy and support every step of the journey. Hear from one of our team members:

The Carnation Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support and resources to hospice patients as well as employees working in hospice and palliative care. One of our team members shared with us after the non-profit organization was able to help during a difficult time.
