Our Monroe and Jonesboro teams enjoyed connecting with the community at the Senior Resource and Health Fair at Jackson Council On The Aging. It was a meaningful opportunity to share information, meet local partners, and spend time with those we’re honored to serve. We are grateful to be part of a community that comes together to support and care for one another.

April is National Counseling Awareness Month, and we recognize the importance of caring for both physical and emotional needs. Our grief support coordinators provide comprehensive support for family members and close friends for 13 months after the loss of a loved one. We honor their loved one’s life and provide support for the journey of grief.

Meet Carter Walker, a true HOSPICE HERO.

When an electrical fire started in the building that houses our Pawley’s Island branch, Carter, Director of Operations, acted immediately by using a fire extinguisher and shutting off power to help prevent the fire from spreading. When firefighters arrived, they shared that her quick thinking saved the entire building. We are grateful for Carter’s calm leadership and the way she leads and serves every day.
