Christmas Eve brings a special kind of magic to our NICU! Santa himself made a heartfelt visit to spend time with some of our smallest and strongest patients, bringing gentle joy, soft smiles and a moment of holiday magic to families who need it most.

We’re grateful to our incredible NICU team for helping create these treasured memories—reminders that even in the most delicate moments, hope and love shine brightest. 🎄🎁💕

Holiday magic is in the air! Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a special visit, spreading joy (and plenty of candy canes) everywhere they went. The Clauses brightened the day for patients, families and staff, including some newborns getting their very first photo with Santa. ❤️🎅🤶

The spirit of generosity has been shining brightly across our community this holiday season. Pastor Sylvia Hawkins generously donated more than 100 gifts to be shared with pediatric patients receiving both inpatient and outpatient care. Her kindness will bring smiles to many children and families this Christmas.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dok Dean, a local 7th‑grade student and member of the National Junior Honor Society and Beta Club. Through his “Santa’s Little Helper” project, he delivered 90 Christmas gift bags filled with socks, toys, bells and candy for pediatric patients.

We are so thankful for Pastor Hawkins, Dok and all who continue to support our patients with open hearts. Your generosity truly makes the season brighter. ❤️🎄

From pediatrics to rehabilitation and long-term care, these gifts brought smiles and brightened days for patients throughout the hospital. We’re so grateful for Wofford Athletics and everyone who helped make this possible!

Patients at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care received a special surprise this holiday season—bags filled with cozy fleece blankets, puzzles or coloring books and crayons, bringing fun and joy to their day. These thoughtful gifts were made possible thanks to Corben Punch, a Dorman High School student committed to giving back to our community. We’re grateful for the kindness that helps brighten the lives of those in our care. 💙

Our Story

We provide the highest quality of care to patients in Spartanburg, Cherokee, Union, Greenville and Laurens counties in South Carolina, and Polk and Rutherford counties in North Carolina. With more than 100,000 visits to the Emergency Center each year, our hospital system is committed to providing the best standard of health care for every person who comes through our doors. Spartanburg Regional includes the Spartanburg Regional Physician Group, a network of physician offices located throughout five counties; Regional HealthPlus, a network of hospitals and physicians of every specialty; Spartanburg Regional Foundation; Spartanburg County Emergency Medical Services; and the Village Hospital, located in Greer. We provide programs in home health, imaging services, pediatrics, occupational health, sports medicine and rehabilitation. Outpatient surgery is offered through the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Spartanburg and the Surgery Center at Pelham. The Emergency Center, Gibbs Cancer Center, Heart Center and Women’s Health at Spartanburg Regional are recognized as Centers of Excellence. Providing expert care means having all the systems in place to identify and address medical conditions at every stage of your life. That’s the guiding force behind each of our specialties.
