A big shoutout and highlight to our Executive Director Octavious Taylor! It has been a little over a year, and we have appreciated the support and hard earned work that has come from this last year, and here’s a hope to many more!

Octavious (“OJ”) Taylor is a seasoned management professional with more than a decade of experience leading diverse programs and operations in the non-profit and public sectors. A U.S. Army veteran, OJ holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Shorter University.
Most recently, OJ served as Program Services Coordinator at Lifeworks Family and Youth Alliance in Austin, Texas, where he led and empowered a team connecting teens and young adults with housing, workforce, education, counseling, and case management programs and services, serving over 3,000 youths. OJ brings expertise in program development; team leadership; crisis intervention; evidence-based programming; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Because of you, our parking lot was filled with laughter, creativity, and Halloween spirit! 🧡👻 From amazing costumes to festive trunks, games, and candy galore — it was a joy to celebrate with our community.

We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make this event possible — our volunteers, organizations, and families who came together to create a safe and fun evening for all. 💜

We can’t wait to see you again at future community events! 🥰
