🐣 Now THAT was an egg-cellent Easter celebration! 🐰 We had so much fun this weekend at our Easter Egg Hunt that had everyone hopping with excitement! From little ones on the hunt to plenty of laughter all around, it was a day full of sweet moments and even sweeter memories.

Safe to say… we had a hopping good time and egg-ceeded expectations! 🥚😄

🇺🇸 National Vietnam War Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor and thank the men and women who served during the Vietnam War, including many of the Veterans and families we are privileged to know right here at Peaceful Pines.

Through our partnership with Patriot Angels, we help Veterans and their surviving spouses explore the VA Aid & Attendance benefit, a tax-free monthly pension that can help cover the cost of senior living and care for those who qualify. As a small way of saying thank you, Peaceful Pines waives the community fee for eligible Veterans working with Patriot Angels, helping families focus on care, comfort, and community.

If you or someone you love served during a wartime period, you may have benefits you didn’t even realize were available. Today, we honor your service and stand ready to help you explore the support you’ve earned.

All aboard for a great afternoon! 🚂 We had the pleasure of hosting Mike Grimm and Kirstin Hilpert from the historic 1880 Train, and they did not disappoint! From behind-the-scenes stories to the rich history of this Black Hills treasure, it was a presentation that kept everyone on track and fully engaged. We had a fantastic turnout, and our residents loved every minute — it’s not every day you get to “travel back in time” without leaving your seat!

Thank you to Mike and Kirstin for making this such a fun and memorable experience for our community. 💙

This last Friday, our team rocked our favorite denim to support those living with Dementia and to raise awareness for such an important cause.

Many families don’t realize that veterans and their spouses may qualify for VA Aid & Attendance benefits that can help cover the cost of senior living and care. These benefits were earned through service, and families deserve guidance in accessing them with clarity and compassion.

In partnership with Patriot Angels, we also offer a waived community fee for eligible veterans and their spouses as a small way to say thank you for their service and sacrifice.

🔥🏅From East River to West River, we had so much fun bringing a little Olympic fun to our communities! Inspired by Team USA and the athletes competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, our residents and teams passed the torch from community to community, even Peaceful Pines Senior Living at Mitchell, which is under construction!

Over the past couple of weeks, residents shared lots of laughs and enjoyed some friendly competition as our Life Enrichment teams planned activities centered around the Olympics.
