🚨 Important Announcement from the South Dakota Ambulance Association 🚨

We want to let everyone know that the CADS class originally scheduled for July has been postponed due to low registration numbers. While we know many were looking forward to this opportunity, we believe it's best to look at rescheduling for a future date when there is greater attendance.

✅ However, the CAPO class is still ON and will be held in July in Pierre — and there are still seats available! If you're interested, don’t wait to register.

South Dakota Ambulance Services are at a critical crossroads, and we need YOUR voice to help shape the future of EMS in our state! The South Dakota Ambulance Association (SDAA) has partnered with PWW and the SD Department of Health to address the pressing sustainability challenges facing all ambulance services—but we cannot do this without your input.

***** PRESS RELEASE ********

On Saturday June 8th, 2024 shortly after 9PM a Day County Ambulance was transporting a patient to Fargo when it caught Fire on I-29 in ND by the Colfax Exit shutting down traffic northbound on the interstate for approximately 45 minutes the crew stated that there was a loud bang under the patient Compartment and the vehicle would no longer shift gears the EMS crew was quick to identify there was a serious problem and they evacuated the patient and themselves to a safe distance away from the 2008 Ford F-450 Ambulance. Nobody was injured, but the Vehicle and its contents are a total loss, the fire is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
