Meet Dr. Aly Oltmanns, the heart and hands behind Canyon Chiropractic!

With a lifelong passion for healthcare, Dr. Aly began her journey with a biology degree from BHSU before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College in Iowa. In December 2024, she fulfilled a dream by purchasing and reopening an established clinic—bringing her unique expertise and vision to life in the Spearfish community.

Canyon Chiropractic offers more than just spinal care. As the only clinic in the Black Hills to offer ARPwave therapy, Dr. Aly combines modern, evidence-based treatments with a personalized touch. Services include spinal and extremity manipulation, shockwave therapy, and nutritional supplements—all designed to support the body’s natural ability to heal. She’s also Advanced Activator certified, giving patients access to even more tailored chiropractic care.

What sets Canyon Chiropractic apart? A welcoming atmosphere, attentive care, and a mission to inspire patients to take control of their health. Dr. Aly and her team have already made an impact—not only by helping people feel better, but by giving back through donations to local sports teams, the senior center, and veteran care programs like Care in the Community.

Her biggest success so far? Opening day—and the heartfelt feedback from patients who say she and her team are the highlight of their day.

Last weekend, Dr. Aly and Merrissa attended an Applied Kinesiology for Sports seminar hosted by Nutri-Dyn, featuring Dr. Bob Rakowski. The education focused heavily on nutrition, as well as some technique-based practice at the end! We were also blessed to spend some time with our friends at Parham Chiropractic and test out a few of their gadgets. Stop in and let's talk about it!

Last Sunday, Dr. Aly spoke at Bloom - A Women's Networking Retreat hosted by sage beauty and wellness. She touched on the importance of stress management as a business owner, and how chiropractic care can help!

Also in attendance were Merrissa, Dr. Aly's mom, and other inspiring women in business!

The afternoon was spent networking, learning about marketing, sharing ideas, creating floral arrangements, and enjoying the company of likeminded women. We can't wait for next year!
