Spooky season is right around the corner! We have an updated event, we have a balloon artist coming to our Halloween event!

We are also doing a Halloween candy drive! If you would like to donate some candy you may drop it off with the receptionist (Monday-Friday) or at the activities desk. You can also have it delivered! Just have them deliver it to our address Attn: Tiffany and it will get left on the front desk!

Please share and bring the kiddos!

Halloween is just around the corner! We will be having our haunted house again this year! As well as trick or treating with the residents. This year we added the availability of hot dogs, chips and cookies so the kiddos and adults alike have something to eat other than candy!

We are also having a candy drive again this year. If you would like to donate candy please bring it (or delivered, if you so please) there will be donation spots at the front reception desk (Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30) or the activities desk.

Please share and bring your kiddos! The residents and staff love seeing all the kiddos dressed up!

Spearfish Canyon Healthcare formally David M. Dorsett Healthcare Community has been a part of the Spearfish, South Dakota community since 1956. David and Olive Dorsett envisioned a place where seniors could experience a culture of healing in an environment that promoted quality of life. Thanks to their generosity, our community became a reality and it has been serving those in need for more than 60 years. Our 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled care center, which includes 20 memory care beds is conveniently located near our local clinics and hospital. We have made it our mission to provide the highest quality care in a compassionate and positive environment. We are excited with our new management team, Eduro Healthcare. We look forward to serving the community with our new management group, and striving to make Spearfish Canyon Healthcare even better!
