New Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center believes God is the Creator of life and that all life has intrinsic value and purpose from conception to natural death. We are thrilled to share that New Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center is pursuing the purchase of additional real estate to expand our services including free limited medical services to the women of Owen and surrounding communities! With some snow in the air today and on the roads... a quick reminder:

If Spencer-Owen Community Schools cancels school due to inclement weather (snow, ice, etc), New Beginnings will also be closed for the day. We align our availability with their being open. We want the roads to be safe for our staff and friends. So, if there is a question, check Owen County Schools for cancellations.

Hope Resource Center’s executive director, April, reached out recently to ask if we were in need of an exam table. She said that Friends of Haven Care Center in Danville, Kentucky, had one that is free to a good home. April asked their Men’s Ministry leader, Nate, to reach out to Haven’s Men’s Ministry leader, Matthew, to help get us connected. That is how I ended up on a 9 hour round trip to Kentucky with my trooper of a husband, George, on this beautiful fall day! Thank you to everyone that helped make this possible! As we continue to take steps toward offering free limited medical services to the women of our community, this is a wonderful resource to obtain! Thank you to my in-laws for providing a truck to transport the exam table. Thank you to our board of directors President, Becca Anderson, and her husband, Bobby, for storing the exam table until we are ready for it. Thank you, Lord, for your continual provision that always comes in the most creative ways.
