35th ADA Anniversary at Clay Co. Heritage: The Spencer ADA Council has partnered with the Clay Co. Heritage Center to celebrate the landmark passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. There are a variety of exhibits. One part of the display highlights two longtime local groups that use horses in support of persons with disabilities. One is the annual Pony Express riders who help raise money for Camp Sunnyside in central Iowa and the other is Reins of Hope who offer equine therapy for persons with disabilities.

35th ADA Anniversary at Clay Co. Heritage: The Spencer ADA Council has partnered with the Clay Co. Heritage Center to celebrate the landmark passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. There are a variety of exhibits. One part of the display highlights the advances in hearing aides for persons with hearing disabilities. Many of the items were from a collection shared by Nelson Hearing Clinics.

35th ADA Anniversary at Clay Co. Heritage: The Spencer ADA Council has partnered with the Clay Co. Heritage Center to celebrate the landmark passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. There are a variety of exhibits. The history of crutches is shared in one area of the display and how this device has evolved over the years to help those with mobility challenges to engage with their community.
