Just an update for those who didn't see the Village Voice article I wrote:
There have understandably been some inquiries as to the situation of Cloud Nine Massage since Clint Gosse from Gosse Chiropractic has announced his practice is closing. I’m here to tell you that I’m not going anywhere for now. My husband and I will be purchasing the building and Cloud Nine Massage will continue operations as normal. While I will truly miss Clint here at the office, I want to formally wish him all the best in his next adventure. He has been a staple in my life for the past 11 years and I’ll miss his company and our chats.
I am the only massage therapist here at this time. I am/will be continuing to look for another therapist to help me with the growing number of clients. For the time being, I will be unable to accept any new clients until a second therapist is found. I want to give my current clients the time and attention they deserve from me. Going forward, I will only be selling gift certificates to current and active clients of Cloud Nine Massage. My normal operating hours will not change. I’m currently here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 pm to 6 pm. I can be reached on my cell at 920-309-2173 since the previous Cloud Nine number has been disconnected and the Gosse Chiropractic number will be disconnected in the near future. Since nobody will be around to occupy the front desk, I will have the front door locked when I’m in with clients.
In previous years, I’ve accepted any and all gift certificates even if they are past the expiration date. There is one change I will be making to this. Starting January 1, 2023, if any expired certificates are presented, I will allow the monetary amount to be applied toward a service or product only. The certificate will remain valid for the amount it was purchased for, but the certificate holder will lose the length of the massage since most were purchased on a sale date or in previous years when the massages were cheaper. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
There is plenty of space in the building for another tenant. If anyone is interested in space, please feel free to contact me about details.
