Good evening, it has come to our attention that people are saying that we have closed… in fact we are evolving. We are indeed transitioning from being known as Spencer Funeral Home to Spencer Family Event Center. Same ownership, same mission to serve and honor the families and community of Spencer. We are excited to offer more options than solely funerals. We have updated our facility to give the community a building to host any kind of event; regardless of what your family may need we will be glad to accommodate it. We would love to invite the community in for a meet and great with our staff and to see the long overdue upgrades to the building. We will be hosting an Open House Friday September 27th, 2024 from 3-7pm in celebration and honor of the late Jimmy Neal on his Birthday. We would also like to assure anyone who has a prearranged funeral it is still valid and we will honor it at the Spencer Family Event Center or the facility of your choice through Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta which you may reach at 931-946-7444 or 931-738-8549.
