Hi friends! Phoenix Counseling, LLC has moved to Spencer, Iowa! We loved living and working in the Rapid City community, but it was time for a change. South Dakota will always have a place in my heart and I will continue to serve South Dakota through virtual appointments, for those interested. I will also be offering in-person and virtual appointments in Spencer. Our new address is below. I am working on the finishing touches of my new space and I will post updates here and on Instagram. I am hoping the space is ready to go by the end of March. As of now, I am currently able to accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Iowa and South Dakota. Thank you everyone for the support and I am looking forward to offering services in a new community!

I am posting a few days late, but here is to a new month. Self-care is increasingly difficult now that it is dark early and we are headed into the holiday season. Here are some ideas of ways you can take time to take care of yourself each day of the month. You do not need to follow these, but these are ideas if you are struggling to come up with something. Here is to a new month and focusing on you and your mental health!

Some have asked how I chose Phoenix Counseling as my business name. For those who do not know, the Phoenix is a very powerful mythical creature. It is the symbol of new beginnings, change, conquering fears, and most powerfully...rising from your ashes. When I chose the name for my business I wanted something that really represented what counseling means to me. In my counseling space, I will walk alongside you as you grow, change, and rise above the insecurities and challenges in your life. Hi friends! I have started an exciting new adventure by opening my own mental health private practice. I would like to introduce, Phoenix Counseling, LLC. I will be providing mental health services in Rapid City, South Dakota and the surrounding area. I offer both in person and telehealth appointments.
