Munchkin Monday: Meet Salome Chenang'at! 💛
Salome was orphaned and arrived at Rehema in August 2023. Although she appeared chubby at first, she was actually very malnourished. She received immediate treatment and soon became a much happier little girl.
Salome is three and thriving! She especially smiles with eye contact and loves playing with dolls and toy cars. Outdoor time is one of her favorites, and she enjoys running and playing with others.
Mama Carla describes her as friendly and expressive. Salome shares her needs by crying or talking and has been learning new words, including caregiver names. She is doing well with potty training and has recently started coloring pictures and drawings.
One of the sweetest things about Salome is that she loves to say, “I love you.”
