other conditions. It is also common for clients to report a sensation of healing heat, or occasionally, a slight cold sensation, as the Reiki practitioner's hands pass over/above the body. The healing energy goes where it is needed in the body. This is a hands-off modality. Although, hands may be lightly positioned on the client's shoulders or feet, with the client's permission. The client is always fully clothed for Reiki treatments. Reiki is an alternative healing modality. Dr. Gillette is a trained Reiki practitioner, and is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
