Ignite your intentions under the fiery energy of the Aries New Moon. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of candle magic while crafting a personalized ritual rooted in your goals and desires.

We’ll begin with an overview of the Aries New Moon and its themes of self-initiation, courage, and new beginnings. You’ll then be guided through the steps of building a focused magical working, from choosing your intention to layering herbs, oils, colors, symbols, and inscriptions.

By the end of our time together, you’ll leave with:

•A fully dressed and charged ritual candle

•A step-by-step understanding of how to safely and effectively practice candle magic at home

•A deeper connection to your own intuitive power and the lunar cycle

•A mini “ritual kit” to carry your spellwork forward

Deidre is a Master Esthetician and certified Reiki Master. She has long had a passion for skin and haircare and in 2021, decided to pursue an education in skin therapy. After achieving the title of Esthetician through the Esthetic Institute she decided to further her education and gained her Master Esthetician title in the very next year. During her studies she learned the importance of up to date research and compassion. Deidre has a deep understanding of the skin in order to specialize in both aging and acne prone skin. She believes in caring for the skin from the inside out. Her goal is to help people learn about their skin in both a results driven, and relaxing manner.

Before Our New Pricing Goes Live…

We want to officially announce that our new scheduling system and updated pricing structure will go into effect tomorrow- Tuesday, March 31.

As part of this transition, Abracadabra will be moving to a new booking platform along with a tiered pricing model based on practitioner experience, advanced training, and areas of specialization. These updates will allow us to better reflect the level of training each provider brings to their work, and will also introduce some changes to the way appointments are scheduled and paid moving forward. We will be sending a separate email with more detailed instructions about these changes once the new system is live.

Because pricing will be changing, this is the last chance to purchase service bundles at the current rates.

Bundles purchased now will lock in the existing pricing, and when combined with the built-in bundle discount, the savings can be significant- especially for those who receive massage or bodywork regularly.

If you have been thinking about stocking up, now is the time.
All bundles will remain valid after the new system launches on March 31.

Allyson worked in the career field of veterinary medicine for over 20 years prior to feeling called to new opportunities in Sperryville, VA. She joined the community first through working as a barista at Before & After Cafe, and has now joined the team at Abracadabra Massage & Wellness. Allyson graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2008 with a double associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and Biology. She then went on to continue her education in specialized veterinary medicine (internal medicine and emergency critical care).

Allyson’s focus and expertise lies within client services, clinical practice, communication, scheduling, and practice management. She has decades of experience with client relations, phone triage and treatment counseling, and supporting practitioners.

At Abracadabra, Allyson strives to serve as a client liaison and work in a role that helps clients feel welcomed, supported, and guided to the treatments and practitioners that will help them the most in their healing journey. She also hopes to continue to expand her knowledge and grow within the healing arts at Abracadabra.

Our next Tarot Healing Circle is coming up, and we always look forward to these small group gatherings.

This is a space to practice reading, ask questions, explore different decks, and work with the cards in a way that you can’t always do on your own. Every circle ends up a little different depending on the group and the current astrological weather, which is part of what makes them so meaningful.

These are kept intentionally small so everyone has time to participate.
