Sarah Lockwood is the primary genealogist at Minnesota-based, AncestryHelp. She has been doing family research for herself and others for over a decade, discovering family history, photographs, documents, ancestors, and relatives across the United States, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Eastern Europe, Germany, Holland, and the British Isles. Research has included documentation for military servi
ce as far back as the Revolutionary War, land grants, and immigration origins. Forensic genealogy has been a personal journey for Sarah, as an adoptee, she has experience with finding her own birth mother and father! She would love to join you in your journey of discovering genetic family. Sarah has enjoyed sharing her genealogy knowledge as a guest speaker, workshop presenter, and family history researcher at charity events. Sarah’s educational background has helped to hone her research skills. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Northwestern - St. Paul, MN, and a Master of Arts Degree from Wheaton College - IL, in Educational Ministries. She recently completed her Certificate in Genealogical Research through Boston University, in 2021. Currently, Sarah is participating in ProGen Study Group 61. She has had clients seeking DNA analysis for birth grandparent and great grandparent identification, research in the digital Norwegian and Danish national records pertaining to ancestors who had descendants who immigrated to the U.S., creating frameable family trees, expanding family trees, and heirship work for a real estate company.
