Great things have happened in 2023 and we have obtained our 501(c)3 non-profit status for AVOW Charitable Ministries. I am so excited for what the Lord is going to do in and through us in the coming year.

May is National Dental Care Month! Did you know that one of the most common dental problems that people face is Gingivitis?

Gingivitis is a type of gum disease that causes inflammation, irritation, and bleeding in the gums. It's often caused by poor oral hygiene habits, such as not brushing or flossing regularly, as well as a build-up of plaque and bacteria on the teeth.

Fortunately, Gingivitis is preventable with some simple steps:

-Brush your teeth twice a day, for at least two minutes each time, using fluoride toothpaste.
-Floss at least once a day to remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth.
-Use an antiseptic mouthwash to kill bacteria and freshen your breath.
-Eat a balanced diet that is low in sugar and high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
-Visit your dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings, at least twice a year.

By following these tips, you can keep your teeth and gums healthy and prevent Gingivitis from developing. Take care of your smile, and it will take care of you!
