We are excited to get back and share some new information & new tools for use in the Derm world!! Overall, another great conference!

We are looking to add a receptionist to our team! Seeking an enthusiastic individual with good patient care experience.

Duties include—Fluent in medical language, computer skills, answering phones, scheduling, utilizing medical records and entering payments, able to adapt to a busy work environment.

*No nights, weekends or holidays. Daytime hours only
*Paid time off and paid holidays
*Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm

Position 2 - Clinic nurse at our Spirit Lake Location

Lakes Dermatology is looking to add an energetic, hard-working individual with healthcare experience to our team. Dermatology experience is favored.

Hiring Full-time position (RN, LPN, CMA)

Mon-Fri (No Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

Job Summary includes working 1:1 with provider, scribing, assisting in procedures, notifying of pathology, answering phones, and other miscellaneous clinical duties for workflow purposes

It is cited within the article that approximately 30% of melanomas develop within pre-existing benign skin lesions.
This particular individual has undergone routine skin checks throughout her life, with numerous biopsies confirming benign findings. Importantly, she was the one to identify the concerning spot and bring it to her dermatology providers attention.

Cancer can develop at any point in time, which is why monthly self-skin checks and regular dermatologic exams are essential. While we cannot control what our bodies may develop, vigilant monitoring and early intervention remain the most effective tools for early detection and treatment.

📣📣📣Our Humboldt clinic is looking to hire a full time nurse practitioner!

Duties include but not limited to the treatment of dermatological conditions of all ages. Surgical excisions of skin cancers. Cosmetic dermatology. Keeping up to date on medical guidelines within dermatology practices. Charting in an electronic medical record. Timely completion of charting and pathology review. Team player!!

Training/education can be provided as needed for the position! Experience is a plus!

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, Fridays off
8:00 am- noon and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm

What is melanoma?
Melanoma is a very serious form of skin cancer. Melanoma cancer begins in the melanocytes. Other names for this cancer include malignant melanoma & cutaneous melanoma. Most melanoma cells still make melanin, so melanoma tumors are usually brown or black. But some melanomas do not make melanin and can appear pink, tan or even white.
