🚢 Ahoy, mateys! WEL-Life at Spirit Lake is charting a course for a Sunday afternoon cruise and you're invited to come aboard! ⚓️🌊

Set sail with our lively crew of spirited WEL-Life residents on the legendary Queen II at Arnolds Park at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 24. It's smooth sailing, lake breezes and plenty of good company as we cruise the beautiful waters of West Lake Okoboji.

🎟️ Fares for this nautical adventure:
• Young sailors (ages 4–12): $9.95
• General passengers (13+): $19.95
• Seasoned captains (seniors 62+): $17.95

If we round up 15 or more shipmates, we'll qualify for a group rate, so grab your family, friends and fellow deckhands!

Prior to the heat wave, our residents and family enjoy a pleasant afternoon together. We remind everyone to stay hydrated. Furthermore, we recommend checking in on elderly neighbors, friends, and family to ensure they are coping well.

We marked Father's Day with a special Open House celebration this Saturday, which included a captivating magic performance by Brandon Aronson. Jane and the kitchen staff created a selection of sweet treats, including homemade ice cream.

What great evening hosting Okoboji Summer Theater Students from Columbus MO. They enjoyed great conversation with the residents and a wonderful buffet made by our kitchen. Each student was given a bag of goodies put together by WEL-LIFE and local businesses in the area.

We are so thankful for so many family,friends and staff that came and brought flowers/herbs and vegetables and help planted them with us. It seems like it was slow going but they are taking off!!
